I love Packwood and sharing this beautiful mountain town! My husband and I live and work here. We bought a family cabin in 2007 and then Packwood Station in a government surplus auction in 2010. It is the historic Forest Service ranger station where Pacific Trail Realty is still located. We moved up full time in 2016. We also bought and restored Historic Hotel Packwood, which our daughter now owns and operates. I am on the board of the White Pass Country Historical Society that operates the Packwood Museum and Visitor Center ... come see us!
My husband and I enjoy participating in and contributing to the community. Some of my hobbies include reading, hiking, biking, skiing, and restoring and renovating old buildings (and it’s a good thing!) I have summited Mount Rainier, Mount Adams, and my highest … El Misti in Peru at 19,101’. I suspect I’m done with summiting big mountains at this point.
I am fluent in American Sign Language (I taught for years at Yakima Valley College), and still working on my Spanish. I enjoy getting to know people of all ages and varieties, and I especially love multi-generational conversations. I used to play the guitar, and go through spurts of picking it up again.
When we moved to Packwood full-time, I got my real estate license as a way to get to know more people in our new community. That is why I love it, and why I've been a top producing agent in our area for the last several years! I look forward to helping you meet your real estate goals!
